The elephant is a wild animal. It is herbivore and devours between one hundred and fifty and two hundred and sixty kilos of food per day. He drinks up to one hundred and forty liters of water a day.

The elephant stays in the womb between twenty and twenty-two months! The elephant breastfeeds her baby until she is three years old.

The elephant’s skin is dry and wrinkled. It squirts water to moisten it.

The Asian elephant has a smaller trunk and tail than the African elephant.

The elephant’s cry is the trumpet.
